Thank you very much for your kind review. We're delighted that you enjoyed the campsite, the village, the spacious pitches and the swimming pool. Regarding the view of the Loire, we completely understand your comment. Unfortunately, the riverbanks belong to the French authorities and are part of a protected natural area. We are not allowed to cut back the vegetation ourselves and could face significant fines if we did so. We nevertheless hope that you enjoyed the beautiful setting and had a lovely stay with us at Camping l'Isle Verte. We hope to welcome you back to Montsoreau in the future.

Thank you very much for your lovely review and for coming back to see us again. We're delighted that you still enjoy the campsite, its location and the activities we offer. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the wine tasting excursion and discovered more about our local wines. Regarding the electricity, unfortunately the power cuts are indeed caused by a few guests using prohibited high-consumption appliances such as electric vehicle chargers, air fryers or air conditioning units. When this happens, the network becomes overloaded and trips. As we live on site ourselves, we are affected too, and each time we do our best to restore the power as quickly as possible. As for the pigeons... they certainly enjoy our beautiful riverside location as much as our guests do! Unfortunately, they can sometimes be a little too generous with their visits. Thank you again for your loyalty

Thank you for your feedback and for extending your stay with us. We're pleased that you enjoyed the location, the riverside walks and the easy access to the village and its amenities. Regarding the pitches and the grass, we are currently experiencing an exceptional heatwave and, unfortunately, the grass is suffering too. We are also under water restrictions, which makes it impossible to keep the pitches as green as we would like. In addition, the campsite has been full almost every day, with some guests staying for several weeks, which naturally puts extra pressure on the grounds. As for the trees and pigeons, being right on the banks of the Loire means that we share the campsite with plenty of wildlife. We do our best to maintain the trees while preserving the natural environment that so many of our guests enjoy.

Concernant le petit-déjeuner, nous comprenons votre suggestion. Cependant, nous n'avons souvent que très peu de demandes le matin et il ne nous est malheureusement pas possible d'ouvrir le bar plus tôt et de mobiliser du personnel pour seulement quelques petits-déjeuners. Nous prenons également note de votre remarque concernant les consignes de départ et réfléchirons à la manière de les rendre plus visibles. Au plaisir de vous accueillir de nouveau à l'Isle Verte.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding pitch 15, we would like to point out that there is a water point just one pitch away, so access to water is very close by. As for the power cuts, unfortunately all of us on the campsite were affected. The interruptions were caused by one or more guests using prohibited high-consumption appliances such as electric vehicle chargers, air fryers or electric barbecues. When this happens, the electrical network becomes overloaded and trips. As we live on site ourselves, we were impacted by these outages too. Each time, our team responded as quickly as possible to restore the power once the issue had been identified. We understand that this was frustrating.

We are also sorry for the discomfort caused by the power cuts, especially in the middle of a heat wave. These outages were caused by an overconsumption or the use of a malfunctioning device by one or several guests and are very difficult to locate despite our best efforts, which is why we are even more grateful for your understanding and patience. We noted your remark about the directions in the sanitary block. We are also sorry about the discomfort caused by the power cuts, indeed some guests sometimes use devices (including charging their own vehicles) that require more electricity despite our warnings, and since the campsite is almost full it takes us more time to find the origin of the disruption.
