Terme d'Astor is a friendly family camp-site in the Dordogne. With enough space for all, young and old, lovers of peace and those who like it lively. Our camp-site is in the middle of a beautiful nature, where you will have a lovely time doing lots, or nothing at all. Just as you wish. You will find our camp-site (13 hectare) on a plateau in wooded hills. There are 100 large pitches with lots of privacy. But you can also choose to rent one of our chalets for your next holidays.

We werden blij verrast doordat we in chalet Chapeau mochten verblijven (voelde als upgrade voor de i.p. aan ons toebedachte JOJO). Verder de fijne vertrouwde Paella, BBQ, Pizzatruck, muziek en Pubquiz avonden. Naast de Jeu de boules middagen. Het heerlijke welkome zwembad (op de zeer warme dagen). Fijne bar/restaurant. Nog steeds schappelijke prijzen. Kortom we hebben ons weer prima vermaakt en onze rust kunnen pakken. Ga zo door. Al met al complimenten # Chapeau 😉
Hier en daar wat opknapzaken misschien, inherent aan al wat langere bestaan van camping. Maar het terrein ligt er verzorgt bij qua vegetatie. Soms aan bar wat vertraging doordat niet iedereen even bekwaam is, maar ach....het is ook vakantie. Dus trancilo is ook wel oké. Aanbod van drank/eten is ! Echter in het winkeltje (zeker de ltste wk) in de koeling geen (aangevuld) aanbod meer van flessen frisdrank, toetjes, boter e.d. Dat was jammer. Tot slot viel ons op dat er steeds meer honden(met eigenaren😉)waren. Helaas lang niet altijd aangelijnd of bekwaam in omgang, denk aan blaf overlast.

Chapeau is een heel fijn chalet (van particulier). Schoon en heel compleet. En ook in heel goede staat.
Helaas had het huisje schuin achter# Champagne# een vrij luidruchtige airco, waardoor we in de nacht niet met open raam konden slapen (in de zeer warme nachten).

Really nice site, spaced out pitches. Bar and pool area are very nice. Tab system at the bar works well.
More hook up points, some a long distance from pitches, but staff sorted the problem with extension leads. One they can't solve, bugs, put your lights on at night and you're saturated with leaf hoppers, they don't bite, just everywhere.

prima huisjes, gezellige camping, veel ruimte. Jaco en Glen en hun medewerkers zijn erg makkelijk, als je iets wilt regelen of je hebt een probleempje wordt het prima opgelost. Ik heb als zendamateur nog een antennedraad tussen de bomen gehangen, ik had niet hoeven gooien etc. had ook ff mbv de verrijker gekund :-) overigens nog wat leuke verbindingen gemaakt :-)
ik had Starlink bij want ik gokte niet op campingwifi. er was ook een redelijke 4G dekking (geen idee hoe snel in spitstijden). Er was duidelijk iets mis met de campingwifi, de camping heeft glasvezel 800/800Mb maar als er uit de wifi <5mb komt bij <50 gebruikers is er iets mis :-) De leverancier is geweest dat heeft iets geholpen maar dit kan veel beter. Jaco heeft belooft om dit voor het volgende seizoen op te pakken en ik wil met alle plezier hier in bijdragen. met een kleine investering maken we er wat moois van :-)

prima huisje met plavuizen vloeren. Ruim voldoende 230V aansluitingen, 5 pits gasstel, afzuigkap, een oven, Magnetron, Senseo, filterkoffieapparaat en een Waterkoker. Daarnaast was het huisje nog voorzien van een afwasmachine, wij noemden haar Odette :-)
Tsja dat was niet zoveel eigenlijk, ok eentje dan het warme water in de douche sloeg nog wel eens af

Ruime zonnige kampeerplaats CdB92.
Er was achterstallig onderhoud van de afvoer van het grote sanitair gebouw. Hierdoor enige overlast op onze plek. Echter werd er adequaat gereageerd.

Very welcoming staff and a beautifully maintained site. Pitches are large and pleasant and many offer shade. At the time of my stay 50 of the JNVN (young naturists of the Netherlands 18-28) were there for their summer camp. They were camping towards the end of the site and were quiet, polite and pleasant. They organised various activities and even a meal for the entire site to which I received a personal invitation but had to decline as I was due to leave that day.
More water points would be an advantage.

Spacious pitch with adjacent electricity point. Close to facilities - reception, pool, bar/restaurant etc. The site is perfect for families, couples and individuals with a good, but not overbearing animation schedule and an excellent cafe bar. When the restaurant is closed (Mondays) a local food trailer visits and food from it can be eaten at the bar (inside or out).
