Pielachtal Camping is nestled in a picturesque pond landscape in Lower Austria. Our nature-oriented, family-run campsite offers 28 spacious pitches arranged in a semi-circle along the water’s edge. Each pitch ranges from 70 to 100 m² and is equipped with an electric hook-up (CEE plug).

Our small yet charming sandy beach is a highlight for guests of all ages. Whether it’s stand-up paddling or having fun on the swimming raft – the pond guarantees enjoyment for everyone. Our highly praised, newly built sanitary facilities are modern and designed to offer privacy almost like at home. Fresh pastries for breakfast can be conveniently ordered the evening before. Shops and traditional inns are just under 2 km away and easily accessible via a direct cycle path. Regional delivery services also ensure your culinary comfort.

For guests travelling with dogs, we offer a dedicated camping area with eight pitches on the western side of the pond – here, your four-legged friends are welcome to swim with you.

Hofstetten is the perfect starting point for cycling tours, hikes, climbing adventures or excursions throughout the Mostviertel region and beyond. Austria’s capital Vienna, the UNESCO World Heritage region Wachau and the famous pilgrimage site Mariazell are all about an hour’s drive away.
You can also enjoy unique (cycling) excursions with the Mariazell Railway, Austria’s longest narrow-gauge railway. A stop is just 1.5 km away.
